About Us
- Patrick W. Callahan, Author & Illustrator-
Born in Denver, Colorado, Patrick grew up with a younger sister, brother, and a basset hound. In third grade, the family made a move to Albuquerque, New Mexico. His mother gave him art lessons during his early school years, which led to many arts, drafting, and architectural classes he took over the years. After a couple of years in college studying to be an architect, he chooses to drop out of school to pursue the life of a starving golf professional. After eight years of trying to make living playing golf, he went back to school and eventually spent the next 30 years working in the world of Civil Engineering. He used his creative talents to design highways and eventually spent the last 15 years writing instructional training material and teaching engineers how to use software to design highways. During this time, he continued to grow his artistic talents sculpting interesting and humorous sculptures that bring smiles to many people in many homes and offices. During his golfing days and his many years as a teacher, Patrick has always had the gift of being a storyteller. His Gremmie stories explaining the unexplainable have been a part of his life since early childhood. Now he has taken those wonderful stories and brought them to book form for everyone to share.
- What Is A Gremmie-

Gremmies are magical little people who have lived in the forest for centuries. When the big people began to build their farms and houses near the magic forest, the Gremmies took interest and began to sneak into their homes. No one could see the Gremmies at first except for a special boy named Charlie. Charlie spent many adventures with the Gremmies, beginning in his early days as a young boy into his later years as a grandfather.

The name Gremmies ended up being used to identify the little people when it was picked up many years ago by the young leaf surf riders who would ride on the wind using leaves from magical trees.
Each Gremmie has its own personality. Each one of them acts and sounds differently, just like the people in our everyday lives.
